Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using https://www.doctiling.app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Doctiling is an editorial workspace where users upload, generate or import documents into private notebooks and ask an AI agent grounded questions whose answers cite back to those documents.

Doctiling is offered "as is" without warranty of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. AI-generated content may be inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying it before relying on it.

3. Your account

You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your authentication tokens secure.

You may not use the Service to violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, send spam or harass other people.

4. Your content

You retain all ownership rights in content you upload, generate or import into Doctiling ("Your Content"). You grant Doctiling a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license strictly limited to operating the Service for you (storage, processing, AI inference over Your Content to answer your queries, generating embeddings for retrieval).

Doctiling does not use Your Content to train AI models, share it with third parties, serve advertisements or for any purpose other than delivering the user-facing features you trigger.

5. Third-party integrations

You may connect external services (e.g. Google Drive) through the Integrations panel. By connecting an integration you grant Doctiling permission to access only the data needed to deliver the feature you triggered, per the scopes shown at consent time.

You can revoke an integration at any time from Settings → Integrations or from the provider's account permissions page.

6. Plans and limits

The free plan has caps on notebooks, documents per notebook, AI requests per day/week and attachment size, enforced server-side. Paid plans (Gold, Platinum) lift these caps.

Limits and pricing may change. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product before they take effect.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer the Service or attempt to extract underlying models or weights; (b) use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harmful to minors, or that promotes violence; (c) bypass quota or rate-limit controls; (d) impersonate another user; (e) upload content you do not have the right to use.

Doctiling may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion at support@doctiling.app. We will remove your content within 30 days.

Doctiling may discontinue the Service or revoke access to specific accounts in case of misuse, non-payment of a paid plan, or operational reasons. Sections 4 (your content), 9 (liability), 10 (governing law) survive termination.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doctiling and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

Doctiling's total cumulative liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim, or USD 100 if you used only the free plan.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
